We have been successfully assessing, advising and managing clients rehab and conditions via video calling and our online exercise portal ever since we received government lock down.
How can we do this without seeing you in clinic? Every physiotherapist will tell you we are reasonably confident what’s going on before we even touch you and that’s due to our comprehensive experience.
A hands off approach with professional guidance could now avoid a lengthier rehab and recovery months later waiting for manual treatment. Sometimes just small changes make a massive difference, and we don’t need to see you to help you make them. If we feel that you will benefit from physical treatment we will be honest, telehealth isn’t for everyone.
How does it work?
We will agree a time and day that suits you, often we can offer same day or next day slots. We will provide you with a link to an online, password protected assessment portal, where we will take a thorough history of what’s going on for you in the comfort of your own home.
Much in the same way we do in clinic we will instruct you via the video feature to complete the physical movements we require to assess your limitations and ask you to feedback your symptoms.
We have online access to exercises, which have videos attached and allow you to record the difficulty so we have a good understanding of how they are working for you. We can then remotely monitor those exercises and adapt them as required. We can offer general keep fit or full body workout plans tailored to historical injuries that other online workouts may not suit.
